Remember waaaaay back in August, when I spent my 37th birthday filming an episode of a TV show where I got a kitchen makeover? Well, it finally aired, so now I can share!
I love that we can easily adjust the timeline or swap out frames anytime we want. The S-hooks make it easy to lift the frames off and reposition them.
This was one of the biggest custom furniture projects we’ve ever made together, and even though we (temporarily) wrecked the main level of our house with sawdust and piles of tools, it all feels worth it looking at the finished piece.
While it’s true that the faux fur wreath might not hold up in a bad rainstorm, this decor didn’t close me anything so I don’t mind if it’s only up for a month or so. It’s nice and soft against the painted coral surface of our front door so I don’t have to worry about it chipping the paint.
In just a few minutes, the thrift store footstool was transformed into a fluffy fur pouf that was pretty similar to Pottery Barn’s Mongolian faux fur stool (which retails for $319 plus tax).
