Finding a middle ground is hard

It’s a Tuesday, and those are just naturally boring days. And you know what that means — more name-game action

Dexter is definitely in the running. Darling Husband suggested it, after his love of the HBO serial killer, and Mom and Little Sis quickly gave their approval — they’re also fans of the show.
For boys’ names, I am still pushing Henry, Max and Jack. For girls’ names, my faves are still Alice and Rosalie. Same issue as before, really. I am in love with the old-fashioned, classic names, and Darling Husband “just likes what he likes.”
Although whenever I think of having a daughter, my first thought is always “Hannah.” I can’t explain it. Everyone else hates it, but it just feels right, so I’m not ruling it out. Maybe that is how kids get their names? It just “feels” right?
So far our mutual favourites are Dexter, Nicholas and Emma. Oddly enough — or maybe it’s not that odd — Nicholas and Emma are the baby names we used to toss around back in high school, when having kids was 10,000 years away.

So what do you think?
