38 weeks, 3 days pregnant
11 DAYS TO GO!
ME: Ughhh, our bed is so uncomfortable!
DARLING HUSBAND: It’s the same as always.
ME: No, it’s like really, really hard. Like sleeping on … metal or something.
DARLING HUSBAND: Really?
ME: I wish we had one of those fancy pillow-top mattresses. Owwwww.
DARLING HUSBAND: I … um, OK.
ME: Seriously, I can feel all of the springs! I didn’t used to feel the springs digging into me!
DARLING HUSBAND: …
ME: Screw this, I’m going to the couch. At least I won’t get spring-dents in my skin.
DARLING HUSBAND: Whatever makes you more comfortable. Here, let me help you carry those blankets.

I slept on the couch almost all the time with every pregnancy, not sure why the couch is always comfier.

Sounds like your husband is a lot more accommodating than mine was, carrying blankets and everything. By the end of my pregnancy, I could only sleep in short bursts (a few hours at most) but hubby snored through all the tossing, turning and trips to the couch.
