Symptoms: Leg pain (when I overdid it with walking), and my sock-bands are starting to leave little indents in my ankles when I take them off at night — but no, I am not calling that swelling. Not yet.
Body changes: The baby-belly is just slowly getting bigger, but I’ve reached the point where I’m quite used to it. It doesn’t shock me like it used to!
High point: Seeing the nursery start to come together. We still have a long way to go, but it’s a relief to be heading in the right direction.
Low point: Work drama and stress. Sometimes I think I may go on maternity leave a bit early, because the stress will become too much to handle.
Paranoid moment of the week: Concern that work stress was hurting Baby Boy. Dr. L said it wouldn’t affect him, but that it wasn’t good for me. So I’m going to keep calm and carry on for as long as I can there. And if it gets to me too much? Adiós!
