What happened to Sloppy Joes?

Happy Friday, everyone! I have heard rumours it’s a long weekend here in Canada, but since I freelance and all my days are the same, I have no way of confirming these rumours.
Since Darling Husband and I joined Weight Watchers Online, I’ve been using their recipes almost exclusively (as I showed you in this post).
I’ve been trying to make a lot of our “old favourites” — like wraps, tacos, and pizza — except make the new-and-improved healthy Weight-Watchers-friendly versions.
One of our old favourites was Sloppy Joes, so I was happy to see Weight Watchers offers a healthy version that uses turkey instead of ground beef.
Presenting … The Turkey Joe!

Gorgeous, isn’t it?

I take pictures of every new recipe I make these days, because (A) I’m incredibly proud of myself for branching out and cooking so many new (new!) and healthy (woah!) meals. It’s a big stretch for the former Frozen French Fries Princess of 2005.

But I’m sharing this pic with you because I actually get to share the RECIPE, too — it’s online elsewhere, so I’m not going to get sued into the ground by Weight Watchers.

Here’s the recipe. Make Turkey Joes for your Canada Day celebrations this weekend! Your family will adore them love them think they’re pretty tasty for a healthy recipe that doesn’t include a delicious can of Manwich mix.

So what do you think?
