Had a great afternoon crafting with L, A and K. It was the first time I’ve sat down and actually made something — other than some art for the toddler’s new room, which I’ll show you soon — in, like, forever. And it was nice X 100,000.
I was so inspired that I stopped at Michaels on the way home, picked up $18 of supplies, and put together a holiday wreath for our front door once the toddler was tucked into bed.
I need to find a way to work more creative projects — other than writing, which is how I make a living — into my life. It makes me a happier person, which can only make me a better wife and mom.
P.S. Confession: I am so tired that I got confused and thought today was Wordless Wednesday, so I only planned on posting the wreath pic. Oops. Zzzzz.
Ooo very nice! What kinds of materials did you use there? It's hard to tell in the photo.
Oops, crappy phone photo. I bought a white wreath, a package of tiny red bulbs, a package of silver snowflakes, and one red glittery branch-thing, and then just glued everything on. Took literally 10 minutes!
